The rest of the story

Tuesday morning was a project more for me(actually a chore), cleaning out the attic. I downsized the number of "handmedowns" we have because it was a little ridiculous. Actually the girls enjoyed looking at clothes they wore when they were little and this mama cried a little. I just can't believe how fast it goes. Wednesday was edible finger paint which was a major hit after the initial taste. Thursday, was swimming cause mama needed a break. Friday, we got to have a play date with our visiting cousins to the zoo and CFA. It was a great week that ended with 2 nights of burgers with our Bible class. Sorry for my lack of pictures, I am still getting use to this.

Size 0-24M, where did they all come from?
1st taste
"Are you sure mom?"
Madelynn loved it!!!
We went to say hi to Hummy (my dad) while he was working. I was talking and these stinkers were busy switching seats. Don't worry I immediately put Madelynn back in her carseat!

Let the fun begin

Bright and early Monday i just happened to have little whispers in my ear telling me it was time to get up and start our "project". I was super excited about the activity of the day so I didn't mind crawling out of bed. Rainbow cake was the project, but I am not a baker. I think you can probably figure out the rest.

I couldn't believe I actually mixed them to get the right colors.
It was so beautiful before I put it in the oven.
It's pretty obvious what Madelynn spent her time doing.

Pretty much 2 cake mixes won't fit into one 8 in. pan. I had to think fast because it was to pretty to just throw away.
CAKE BALLS!!
They just happened to be delicious!!
The best part of the day was that we got to share them with cousins visiting from Arkansas!!!

SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER!!!

Sis and Ella
Sis
Sister

Well, in an effort to get done with school ASAP I made the decision to take 12 hrs. this summer. Six of the hrs. were classroom and the six are a 320 hr. internship I know, YIKES!! I have completed the two classroom classes and finished with B's, I know I was shocked too!! I am doing my internship on base with different areas of fitness and sport, and it has been amazing. I have worked golf tournaments, and done some with the base softball team. For the remainder of the summer, I will be learning the fitness center, helping the base team put together some fundraisers and maybe even a trip to Florida for the Military Worlds Tournament. All this to say I am kinda on my own sch. now. I promised the girls as soon as I was done with class we would have some sort of activity everyday for the remainder of the summer. It is the second week and I am e.x.h.a.u.s.t.e.d.!! Many of those activities have been the pool because a project everyday gets kind of expensive and well I am just plain tired. These pictures are from the night before the madness started. We spent the afternoon at the Heritage Club pool (on base) and finished the night with our new favorite snack, Oreo cookie straws.

Whats a Blog?

Daddy and Mama
Madelynn, "Sister"
Audrey Kate, "Sis"

Well, I bit the bullet. I decided it was time to do this thing you people call a blog. I spend SO much time reading other peoples blogs; why not have my own? My life today changes daily, I am the wife of an airman, and so very proud of it. Being married to the military you never know what tomorrow will hold. Military life is hard, I am not gonna lie, but I wouldn't want it any other way. The fact that I am married to someone who keeps our country safe, is the greatest feeling in the world. Other than the AF I have two precious little girls, Audrey Kate and Madelynn. I will refrain from calling them divas (even though they really are) because I don't want them to know. They are my sunshine, and I am so blessed to be their mother. When I am not consumed with those two things there is school. Yeah, I said it I am still in school. Having babies and trying to go to school is not the greatest plan. The good news is, (DRUMROLL PLEASE), I am graduating NEXT MAY!!!!! Hopefully, this blog will allow me to share my struggles, my joys, and everything in between. Until next time, enjoy the pics!!
