The great flood

Last Wednesday, I woke up ready to seize the day.  I had a bizillion things to do that I had been putting off for the longest.  I got the girls "dressed" and even left the house with makeup done and wearing my favorite shirt.  If you follow me on Instagram, you know how much I love this shirt.  I think I am even prouder to wear this shirt now than that stinkin' day earlier this month.

Anywho, a trip to Target was absolutely necessary and apparently so was a cake pop.

I was so proud of myself for everything I got accomplished.  I sat down to blog and help Mike with his homework, good end to a day.  I noticed there was a big puddle of water by my living room rug, but didn't see a cup anywhere around.  It all of a sudden got really hot in the room and I remembered I had left the laundry room sink running to fill up.  Honestly, I was terrified to look around the corner.  It was worse than I expected.  Blah, blah, blah, and I flooded the house.  The night ended with a completely unnecessary purchase of a shop vac, and bag of dry cleaning that is still wet to this day, and the best husband who helped me get it all cleaned up.

Disney on Ice

We surprised the girls with Disney On Ice last week.  It was cute, but not really as good as I had hoped it would be.  The girls got dressed up and thought we were just going to dinner.  Little miss wanted her hair done, AKA straightened.  Never again, she looks to old.

The girls were soo super excited, and loved every minute of it.  I had a major mom fail and didn't get any "disneyish" pictures, not sure if I'll ever live it down.
We did take some pretty fun pictures though!

Halloween 2012

I know I already posted a Halloween picture, but what's a couple more gonna hurt?!
I have really decided that cookies make any occasion better.  I had to pre order these in August, yeah, that's how incredible they really are.

I made these for AK's classmates and from what I hear, they were a hit.

Aren't they sweet ?

I swear, this child knows how much it ticks me off she won't look at the camera

Good thing she is cute!

Wonder Woman

AK was done with pictures.  She wanted nothing else to do with it.
I can't wait until next year!!  Let the brainstorming begin.

Worth the wait

We have been trying to plan a trip to Myrtle Beach since we moved to Chas.  Of course, life happens and we never found the time.  I finally insisted that we were picking a weekend, and going, no take backs!  We had the greatest time and will def. be going back, ASAP!!

Can you guess why these girls are so happy?

We found mexican food, good mexican food!!

We started the day at Ripley's Aquarium.  Wow is all I can say!  It was incredible.

The largest of the aquariums is one you walk under, umm yeah incredible!!

Isn't this the greatest?  This precious girl loved this place.  I would take her every day just to see this face.

My beautiful girl.  Why is she growing up so fast?

Before heading home, we stopped at the Tanger outlet to go to the Disney Store.  Some little miss had some money burning a hole in her pocket.  Anyway, funny story.  This is what she chose.  Apparently, that same little miss had some time to look over her purchase while we were taking turns going to the restroom.  When I came out, she told me we needed to return her "lipstick" ASAP.  Well, that floored me.  When I asked her what in the world could be wrong, she replied, "Mom, Belle is staring at Sleeping Beauty, and that is not nice."  OMWord!!  Can she get any more hilarious?  Oh, miss Mady!!

This man was such a trooper and didn't complain a single time.  After all, he was missing a cowboy's game.

Just for fun, the traditional picture of the girl who can never get tired!

A visit

I had to include some additional pictures from my mom's visit to SC.  The only thing missing from the pictures is my dad.  Next time!!

Waiting at the airport for the mystery guest :)

Think she liked Deba's salad?
We made all the girls costumes,

and had one fabulous tea party!

Oh how I love this!!

AK had an additional assembly for making the honor role.
Hey, what do you know?  HG is saying cheese!!

Right before we had to go to the airport.  HG did not want her Deba to go home.
Can't wait until next time!

Proud Mom Moment

A few weeks ago, I received the most amazing letter.  You can read it below.

I am so far beyond proud of this girl.  This is the best award your child can receive in my opinion.

The best part of all, was that my mom was here to attend the assembly.

Can you tell the girl in front is pouting?  I mean seriously!

Audrey Kate, you make me so proud every day.  It is such an honor to be your mother.
I love you so much!
