Madelynn's 3rd Birthday

If you know me, you know I am a major planner when it comes to birthday parties. Well, this time I was a major slacker. We finally just decided to get a huge water bounce house and have hotdogs at my parents. It was an absolute blast! There were crazy kids running everywhere and I am pretty sure Madelynn felt very celebrated!

Remember that day I skipped..........

Well, in the midst of the craziest few weeks of our summer, I decided I would make it a little crazier! The last week in July, my BIL was going to be in TX for the Harding night at the Rangers game. This gave me the greatest idea!! I suggested my sister come with him and all of us in Abilene could meet up with them and have a family night!! Everyone loved this idea, and then we realized how crazy this idea was. Mom and Molly would be returning from Africa just 2 days before and their bodies would be a different clock. My dad and Mike had to work that day and there was no way either could get off. That left me, and you know good and well I was not taking a 7 and 2 yr. old, as well as a 3 month old to the game. This is when I became a genius!! Hello, the American Girl store!! We decided mom and I would take the girls and meet Mackenzie for lunch. I am soooo glad we decided to do this because we had an amazing time!! This place is a little girls dream and I am so glad my mom and sister got to join in on the fun!!

I told the girls we were just going to run some errands with my mom. Well, Audrey asked every 15 minutes what was going on. It was hilarious!! This is when they first saw Auntie!

Oompa Loompa

This sweet precious is growing like a weed! I cannot believe how fast it has gone. It makes me so sad that my last baby is not so much a baby anymore. I forgot to take a 3 month shot so I thought I would just put some pics of her 3rd month. I'm sure you are wondering about the title of this post. Since the day HG was born she has made the funniest little noise. I have no idea why but it made me start calling her an Oompa Loompa. She has stopped making the sound now and I am so sad I never recorded it, but I have it written down. I WILL NOT forget this!!

Major Catch Up!!!

I am way far behind!! What else is new!! Ever since we got the news about moving I have been a crazy woman! I feel as though I have been cleaning cabinets, and closets for 2 months! We have sooo much stuff and I am NOT taking anything that is going to sit around and not be used!! It has been a great feeling to be organized. As for blogging, there has been no time. I hope to be completely caught up by the end of the weekend, but who knows. I know when I move my mom will expect a daily update so here goes....................

Mike was working a softball tourn. and AK was staying with a friend so me and the littles had some great girl time. First, we went to the zoo. HUGE mistake!!! The zoo is even too hot at 10 in the morning! No more zoo trips until the fall.
