The Final Days of the Boppy

I decided that I was not having 2 children with a pacifier. I said that about diapers but, well we are still in pull-ups. I told Madelynn the boppy mailman was coming to pick them up and take them to a baby that needed them. We have done great!!! She has asked a couple of times but no major fits. The rest of the pics are from late March and early May.

Mike took AK to the Miranda Lambert concert. They both loved it!!

Easter 2011

We had a pretty uneventful Easter. My family was in Arkansas watching Molly perform in her last Spring Sing. HG was only 5 days old so Mike took the girls to church as we just relaxed the rest of the day.

Hadlee Grace Schlauch

I forgot to mention that in December we found out we were having another princess!! I think I forgot to mention it because we did nothing creative to tell people which kind of makes me sad. Anyway, my pregnancy was about the same as the others, sick at first and slightly elevated bp. Since my bp was a elevated I was able to be induced and April 2oth was the day. I was in school taking a full load and that week was Easter so we had somewhat of a holiday. I decided that would be best so I would miss less class. Crazy, I know. This delivery was much different than before because I had clean hair, a mani and pedi, a clean house, and packed bags. I never had any of that before so I was determined I would accomplish it this time. We arrived at the hospital at 5:30 and got things moving by 7. I was able to get an epidural rather quickly due to my progress, Hallelujah!!! Well, the epidural only took to my left side so I was pretty miserable. The nurse told me they could take it out and try another, I think I cried at the sound of those words!! When she checked me I was at an 8 and I assumed that mean't there was no redoing the epidural, I was wrong. Once they got it fixed I was in heaven and ready to have that baby. Apparently, that was what I needed because shortly after Hadlee Grace was born at 12:40 p.m. weighing in at 7 lbs. 11oz., 19 in.. There is nothing like that moment when you hear the cry of the precious baby you have been carrying for so long. Mike and I have been so blessed with the most amazing, healthy, beautiful little girls. I can ever describe how lucky I am. God is good!!

One last picture prego pic. Please excuse the location, Mike was a little camera happy:)
Precious girl

Valentines Day

Blizzard 2011

This was probably the craziest weather I have ever experienced. No school, no work, nothing for 5 whole days!! We were all at home stuck inside being together. People complained so much it drove me crazy!! I was so grateful for the time to be together with no other distractions. We only went out in the snow for about 5 mins because it was so miserable, so sorry not to many pics :)

What an honor!!!

If you know anything about my grandad you know how many people he has influenced. He taught school and was a principal for 35+ years. Recently, Haskell (where he taught) completely renovated their school. Along with the renovation came a brand new science wing. Because of his influence and dedication they named the building after him. He had no idea and it was so special to be there for the big reveal. He is such a great man and deserves this honor so very much.

Telling him about the building
Uncle Patrick, dad, mom, the girls and I drove up for the ceremony.
Before he knew that we were there
Little Stink
Amazing!!

Merry Christmas

Audrey got a new American Girl
the Xmas "spread". Santa was extremely generous, as usual!!

New tradition: Dad made a special dinner of all of our favorite things. He kept it a secret all day and we loved every bit of it.
For some reason I didn't take many pictures. I think probably it was because I was 5 months pregnant, and suffering from "pregnant brain". We had amazing Xmas' and couldn't ask for anything different. It is amazing how xmas changes as you get older. The looks on the girls faces is one I will never forget. Thankful for a time set aside to be with family and celebrate so many traditions.
